Built between 1875 and 1877, Fort de Feyzin is one of the links in Lyon's second fortified ring and, more broadly, part of the Séré de Rivières system.
In 2003, the Town of Feyzin purchased the Fort and launched its renovation programme.
Listed as a Sensitive Natural Area, Fort de Feyzin is surrounded by 26 hectares of woodland. This exceptional natural setting, away from the city, is well suited to recreational and sporting activities.
Since September 2022, the fort has hosted numerous convivial events for companies seeking distinctive, flexible spaces within a heritage site, set in a natural environment.

Fort de Feyzin is home to the Cavalier, a raised central building that served as barracks and a defence post overlooking the area.
Historically dedicated to defending the moats, the Caponier offers, since its renovation, numerous configurations thanks to its succession of alcoves and ambient lighting. It can be complemented by an outdoor space during the warmer months.
Set on the heights of the fort, just above the Caponier, this green setting is ideal for team building activities or for large receptions during the warmer months.
